Job Description | 7312 – Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics CATEGORY B PROGRAM: Simplified procedure – Temporary Foreign Worker Program EXPENSES: plane ticket, insurance and search for accommodation paid by the employee Number of vacancies: 1 Non-union position YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES • Repair and maintain heavy machinery and trucks • Determine the nature of defects and failures in order to specify the extent of the repairs to be carried out (diagnose problems on equipment) • Adjust, repair or replace parts • Test repaired equipment to ensure it is working properly • Perform periodic maintenance on equipment • Carry out the necessary repairs on the equipment • Support other mechanics in problem solving • Ensure compliance with OHS rules and procedures • Complete the necessary reports • Contribute through their attitude to creating a favorable climate for teamwork.
