| Job Description | Plans and organizes activities for preschool children, to stimulate their language development, confidence, social skills, creativity and desire to learn. Encourages children to participate in activities, such as telling or reading stories, teaching them songs, showing them the use of simple musical instruments, and preparing crafts. Transmits basic knowledge such as the recognition of colors, shapes, numbers and letters. Comforts and assists sick or injured or stressed children. Observe and assess children's progress, behavior, social development and physical health, Talk with parents or guardians about children's progress and needs, and suggest behavior that stimulates their learning and development. Help children learn grooming, dressing or eating routines. Discusses children's development and potential problems with other educators and staff, including attending meetings. Organizes and participates in organized excursions with the aim of enriching formative experiences. Cooperates with other professionals (such as speech therapists and psychologists) to assist children with special needs.
