Onsite Tunisia Basic Scope of Job We are seeking a skilled SAS Developer with 4–6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in the telecom sector. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAS programming and will be responsible for both operational support and development tasks. Experience with Greenplum databases, PL/SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau is highly desirable. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions to support business intelligence and decision-making processes. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Ø SAS Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Ø Development Tasks: Design and implement new SAS solutions to meet evolving business requirements, including the development of new data models and reporting tools. Ø Operational Support: Monitor and maintain existing SAS processes, ensuring their smooth operation and timely resolution of any issues or failures. Ø Data Analysis: Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis. Ø Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT personnel, to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions. Ø Performance Tuning: Monitor and enhance the performance of SAS programs and PL/SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing. Ø Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and system configurations. Ø Greenplum & PL/SQL (Preferred): Utilize PL/SQL for querying and managing data within Greenplum databases, ensuring efficient data handling and storage. Ø Data Visualization (Preferred): Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to facilitate data-driven decision-making Position Requirement Education & Qualification * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL. * Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. * Telecom knowledge * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Experience * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in DWH Domain * 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL Other Conditions / Requirements * Experience with Greenplum databases and PL/SQL development. * Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. * Experience in the telecom industry or related sectors. * Familiarity with other database systems like Oracle or Teradata. * Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles. |
