Job Description MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Maintain outdoor spaces (lawn mowing, snow removal, landscaping, etc.);
• Maintain buildings (washing floors, carpets, windows, etc.);
• Carry out general repairs (plumbing, ventilation, mechanical, etc.);
• Set up the rooms according to the established plan and the standards of the establishment;
o Install and/or remove carpets in large rooms with other team members;
o Install and/or remove tables, chairs and tablecloths during assembly during dismantling;
• Perform the preparation of exhibition halls and the necessary equipment during events;
• Direct exhibitors to their facilities and ensure that they have all the necessary equipment, during shows, exhibitions, etc.;
• Prepare and set up water glasses and pitchers at the beginning and after each break.
o Remove, clean and put away the items listed above for the next meeting.
• Coordinate the exit of exhibitors at the end of the event (exit of equipment and dismantling of the room, among other things, removing and rolling up carpets, etc.);
• Wash the floor of the hall and the large rooms using the resurfacer when necessary;
• Clean and vacuum various places when necessary;
• Supply the various bars of the establishment according to the requests of the catering service.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Hold a bachelor's degree;
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position, ideally in a convention center or in a hotel complex;
• Have good mechanical skills;
• Demonstrate a good sense of initiative and resourcefulness;
• Be able to work under pressure;
• Have good physical abilities;
• Demonstrate dynamism, interpersonal skills, autonomy and versatility;
• Be able to work in a team;
• Have a speed of execution and a concern for a job well done.
