Job Description | Main tasks and responsibilities 1 Manage the process of pre-admission of patients, and registration of patient data in the hospital database. 2 Provide professional and high quality customer service 3 Assist with all reservation procedures. 4 Check the details of the patient's medical insurance coverage before admission 5 Collect payment of fees, insurance deductible or co-payments at the time of admission and provide the patient with the invoice and receipt 6 Escort the patient or arrange an escort to the assigned room or room 7 Confirm room and occupational therapy availability for admissions. 8 Deal with emails / phone calls received from hospital departments on a daily basis. 9 Responsible for being courteous and quick in taking charge of the patient, with the basic idea of "providing service with a smile" 10 Respond to patient questions regarding admission procedures, hospital restrictions, and room selection 11 Verify the validity of medical insurance and patient payment information and verify third party approvals if necessary. 12 Organize the intake charts and collect related documents. 13 Verify patient identification and issue a hospital identification strip if necessary. 14 Manages patient placement throughout the facility by allocating beds, arranging transportation and notifying physicians of patient arrival. 15 Comply with department and hospital policies and guidelines. 16 Ensure compliance with safety standards (occupational and patient safety). |
