| Job Description | MAIN TASKS Under the supervision of the business owner, the agricultural manager will have the main responsibilities of: • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate all the activities of the farm; • Organize, coordinate and participate in the milking of dairy cows, the care and maintenance of animals as well as harvesting; • Manage the herd, monitor inseminations and keep up-to-date registers; • Coordinate agricultural staff; • Get involved in the purchase of inputs and various supplies; • Maintain agricultural machinery and equipment and buildings in good condition; • Carry out agricultural work required according to the seasons. PROFILE • You dream of settling in Quebec and living in the magnificent Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. • You have at least 4 years of experience in the agricultural field acquired on a dairy farm, as a farmer, farm supervisor, or agricultural worker specializing in dairy production; • You have a good physical condition and are passionate about the agricultural world; • You have recognized training in agricultural management or another field related to dairy production.
