Job Description | Assemblers-welders must demonstrate visuospatial skills: visualize in three dimensions of the parts to be assembled from plans and sketches and planning skills activities; in addition to demonstrating good manual dexterity, strength and endurance physical required. Specifically, competent assembler-welders perform unique jobs, complex or very specific. They work from plans and are autonomous in the choice of methods. They are entrusted with the assembly of sub-assemblies intended to receive elements mechanical or interacting with other sub-assemblies, work that requires high precision. They are also entrusted with the complete assembly of standard equipment, sometimes complex. A good welder-assembler should have the following qualifications: Organize his work according to the plans and specifications of the part he must manufacture. Visualize in three dimensions the parts to be assembled from plans and sketches. Understanding the welding symbols allows him to properly select the operating modes of welding and therefore to properly adjust the welding machine. Master the practice of processes in steel and control welding defects in a autonomous. (Detect faults and repair them) Take measurements with tools such as a square, level, and tape measure. Check the deformations caused by the welding. He is able to anticipate and compensate for assemblies to minimize deformations. Autonomous in the inspection of its parts, (dimensional, respect for welding symbols) Achieve performance targets set by the company.
