Job Description
Under the supervision of the workshop and / or site foreman, the mechanic installs, maintains, searches for the cause and repairs fixed industrial machinery as well as mechanical equipment:
- Assemble, adjust and install prefabricated parts to form sub-assemblies or finished products using manual or mechanical tools;
- Install, align, disassemble and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment;
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment for failures and act as a technical advisor as needed;
- Read and interpret plans;
- Operate lifting devices;
