| Job Description |
Under the authority of the technical director, the mechanical engineering technician is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all the deliverables of one or more projects.
Main responsibilities:
• Ensures the planning, organization and control of activities related to the projects under his responsibility in order to achieve the objectives of the contract, within the allocated budget
• Collaborates with the mechanical and electrical engineering, purchasing and production departments for the execution of projects
• Develop a relationship of trust with the client and manage communications with him
• Attends planning, engineering and production meetings, analyzes deliverables and suggests changes to the quote if necessary
• Analyzes technical and logistical issues and proposes alternatives and solutions in order to optimize productivity and quality
• Ensures compliance with production and technical quality standards on all of its projects;
• Ensures that design and manufacturing work is done on time and that they meet company standards
• Ensures the quality of work done as a subcontractor
• Collaborates in the inspection of equipment, start-up in the workshop, installation and start-up at the customer's site
• Provides an internal consulting service for the engineering, manufacturing and installation of equipment
• Contributes through his actions and his involvement to continuous improvement and quality in his company
• Performs any other task of the same nature or of a general nature related to the job, requested by his superior or required by his duties |
