Job Description Main duties
• Study plans, drawings and sketches to determine technical specifications and calculate material requirements;
• Prepare the layouts, using measuring tools, taking into account the requirements of building codes;
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble elements in wood, chipboard, light steel or other materials;
• Erect foundations, install floor beams, lay the floor covering support, mount pre-assembled structural and roofing elements;
• Adjust and install joinery elements such as doors, stairs, moldings and hardware;
• Maintain, repair and renovate dwellings and timber constructions in factories, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments;
• Prepare, if necessary, quotes for customers.
Required profile
• Recognized training in carpentry;
• A three to four year apprenticeship program
or
more than two years of experience in the trade as well as specialized training in carpentry, school or industry;
• Ease of working within a diverse team;
• Be rigorous and meticulous;
• Be versatile and versatile;
• Have good physical capacities;

Working conditions

• Annual salary ($ 42,500 CAD to $ 45,000 CAD)
