| Job Description | Main duties o Installation of transmission lines and various antennas o The installation, maintenance and repair of various telecommunications equipment o Connect various cables (connectors, earthing, etc.) o Maintenance of various telecommunication towers and their site o Inspect and test telecommunications lines and cables to study their transmission characteristics and detect failures o Analyze test results and record them o Climb onto poles, ladders, pylons or other support facilities to work at heights or in tight spaces, such as trenches, tunnels and crawling spaces o Communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of the work to be done o Erect and remove telecommunications poles and pylons and associated support facilities o Assist in the fabrication of concrete foundations to support pylons and telecommunications towers o Drive digging machinery or other heavy equipment as needed. o Drive, if necessary, all-terrain vehicles to access the Pylons and different telecommunication sites o Write daily inspection or work completion reports THE PROFILE o Excellent physical condition o Ability to work in various climatic conditions (heat, cold, strong wind, rain, snow) o Ability for manual work o Must be flexible in working hours: possible stays of more than 10 days outside the city and be available to respond to emergencies. o Ability to work in a team o Experience in 5G network installation Conditions of access to the position o Height movement training or equivalent o CPR would be an asset o Class 5 driver's license or equivalent o A high school diploma is required o An apprenticeship program in assembly of telecommunications lines and cables or more than three years of experience in the trade and specialized training in assembly of power lines, in a school or industrial environment or a two-year college program years in electronics. o Good command of the French language o Fluency in English would be an asset BENEFITS o Possibility of subscribing to group insurance and a registered retirement savings plan, o Various training courses offered, o Hourly wages of $ 26 / h HOURS o 40 hours a week o Full-time job o Three-year employment contract. |
