Job Description
As such, the maintenance technician will have the following tasks:
• Identify the causes of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns and determine the corrective measures to be taken;
• Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment, as well as construction equipment for breakage, to determine the type of repairs to be made while minimizing production stoppages;
• Interpret drawings and sketches for planning the work to be done, determine the tools and equipment required to assemble the equipment according to specifications and plans;
• Change saws and knives in the different machines;
• Make technical, electronic and mechanical adjustments to ensure production changes;
• Perform minor electrical and electronic repairs, all preventive maintenance work according to established procedures, and welding;
• Respect health and safety standards and use safe work methods.
