Job Description JOB TITLE: Production Foreman



Main responsibilities
• Takes the necessary measures to ensure the efficient and optimal use of labor and equipment.
• Ensures good communication between the different departments and stakeholders
• Supervises a work team and assists them in problem solving
• Ensures compliance with HACCP and CFIA programs and occupational health and safety laws and regulations in his sector of activity, while taking charge of preventive actions
• Takes the necessary measures to achieve the objectives set, both on the efficiency of the operations and on the quality of the product
• Ensures compliance with the factory's quality and food safety standards
• The replacement foreman is moved as needed and will be trained in all departments (vacation replacement, work stoppage, etc.)
• Participate in the continuous improvement project.
• All other related tasks
Job requirements
• Have training in an appropriate field
• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar function
• Knowledge of the food industry (dairy an asset)
• Fluency in French and English
• Strong communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
• Be autonomous, rigorous and have a good team spirit
• Good physical ability
