| Job Description | Position: Painter specialist Job summary Reporting to the supervisor, the painter specialist must apply the paint effectively while respecting the work procedure, understand and master the controls of the powder coating unit. Main responsibilities and tasks Prepare surfaces (cleaning and masking) before applying primer and paint Make the paint mixes according to the recommended recipes Use the Airless Air Assisted system Apply electrostatic powder paint according to established standards; Ensure the quality of the tasks assigned to him; Identify paint defects; Adjust your work equipment; Understand and master the controls of the powder coating unit; Maintain the equipment necessary for his work such as pumps, guns, masks, hoses and others; Perform monthly maintenance of the paint line; Anticipate and resolve issues during production. Participate in the proper functioning of an electrostatic painting line; Meets daily production targets. Relevant training - 6 years of experience as an electrostatic painter (powder) or equivalent Evening schedule Monday to Friday Evening 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. or night 11:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Hourly rate: $ 24.57 Evening premium ($ 1.00 *) or night ($ 1.50) - Sense of organization - Ability to work in a changing and rapidly growing environment -Ability to follow directions, work in a team, analyze situations to solve problems. |
