Job Description
A leader in the design and manufacture of windows and patio doors in Quebec, it has been operating for over 40 years and employs nearly 300 people in the Chaudières-Appalaches region looking for Door and Window Assemblers.
We are looking for candidates with advanced knowledge in the PVC window and door manufacturing industry. As such, it performs the preparation of materials, cutting parts, assembly of patio doors while respecting the expected deadlines and the highest quality standards.
As such, the position manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Produce doors and windows in collaboration with other employees;
• Ensure the preparation of materials;
• Cut wood, steel and PVC parts;
• Assemble frames, glass and patio door accessories;
• Carry out the packaging and labeling of products;
• Fill in the different production reports;
• Check the quality of the product and report any manufacturing defects;
• Handling and picking parts;
• Any other related tasks.
The requirements for this position are:
• BTP or CAP in a relevant field (industrial manufacturing)
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Advanced knowledge in French;
• Experience with forklift driving (FORKLIFT)
• Easy to read plans;
• Sense of innovation and team spirit;
• To love the diversity of tasks;
• Possess a driving license;
• Knowledge of windows and doors (an asset);
• Knowledge of the host environment an asset (Quebec and Canada)
