| Job Description | Job Description • Operating agricultural machinery (John Deere, Caterpillar) • Soil preparation, watering, fertilizing, leveling, and draining • Harvesting and storing grain • Crop inspection • Supervision of poultry farming • Maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings • Minor welding • Use and reading of agricultural GPS systems Required Qualifications • Practical knowledge of agriculture (field crops and poultry) • Experience with agricultural equipment and GPS systems • Basic mechanical skills • Ability to work in a team • International Driver's License required • Good physical condition • Presence required during planting and harvesting periods • Computer skills required, as as the successful candidate for the position, you will be required to submit your own immigration application via the IRCC website Working Conditions • Accommodation provided free of charge • Vehicle provided for personal errands • Food and hygiene products at the worker's expense • Salary : $22.00/hour gross and $16/hour net • Schedule: Minimum of 44 hours/week, more depending on weather and season • Flexible schedule depending on planting and harvest periods |
