| Job Description | Training, experience and certification: • The person must have, at least, a DEP in welding or experience of more than 5 years in welding/assembly • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in welding/assembly • Have significant experience in aluminum • Welding and assembly of aluminum platforms, bridges or footbridges Mandatory knowledge: • Master metric and imperial measurements and master MIG and TIG welding processes Main responsibilities: • Analyze and understand assembly plans • Carry out the assembly steps, in parallel, with the welding steps • Perform the weld finish • Remove welding spatter • Finish with the appropriate tools • Perform grinding and sanding for finishing and/or error correction. • Perform various tasks associated with welding • Perform plasma cuts • Carry out various torch heating • Carry out oxycutting • Perform drilling • Clean the workspace • Load and unload parts • Use overhead cranes and engineering lifts to transport parts What the company can offer you: • 40 hours per week • This position may sometimes require overtime • Monday to Friday daytime position only. |
